ENRICHED AIR- NITROX Others have developed courses for teaching Nitrox, but PADI has developed one that is straight forward and fun . The popularity of this class is increasing every year and consequentially Nitrox gas becoming more available. Using Nitrox is like buying a VW, you get more miles for your tank or it will extend your bottom time. This does not mean you can go deeper, and there are certain responsibilities that come with the privilege to use Nitrox. You read the manual and watch the video prior to class. Then during the class we review your knowledge and insure you have a thorough understanding on the use of Nitrox. One night at the store (if you are prepared) and we can complete your Nitrox certification

Then a meeting at MDS where we will review and do all the practical portions such as analyzing the gas. A great new way to do your NITROX There is no empirical evidence at this time that it makes you feel better, but ask any Nitrox diver if they are as tired after making dives on Nitrox. We believe in Nitrox so strongly , we insist all divers who participate in the annual Lobster Hunt on the east coast of FL be trained in Nitrox. You can ask anyone who has been there and they will taut the benefits of this gas. You will receive a PADI Specialty rating which can go toward Master Scuba Diver Prerequisites- PADI Open Water
