Underwater Naturalist

A naturalists is one who is versed in natural history. You already have some knowledge from the dives you have made. You have seen the voracious blue gill in fresh water quarries or you have observed the smiling barracuda in saltwater. You have gained some knowledge of where and how these animals live and act.

The underwater naturalists class expands you knowledge on the nature of animals. When diving the fresh water quarries in Midwest you will have the opportunity to learn more about the Spoonbill to the fresh water jellyfish. When diving the tropical waters you will learn to better appreciate the interaction of plants and animals.

This is a great specialty to start after your open water training. Armed with the knowledge from this class you will start to look more deeply into the ecosystems and appreciate it more with every dive.
